Katie Skene is a blues and Americana singer, guitarist and songwriter, based in Ventura, CA., and originally from Tallahassee, FL. Her music embodies the melding of her Southern roots with a decade spent on the West Coast. The result is a sound uniquely her own, infusing the twang of southern rock with the cosmic sounds of California.Through the prism of her evocative vocals, personal songwriting and masterful guitar work, Katie's music blends electric swamp blues with jam-band psychedelia.
Katie received a B.M. in Popular Music Performance from the University of Southern California. Since graduating in 2015, Katie has worked primarily on the West Coast, performing in the Jam-Band & Americana scene and collaborating with many legendary artists and musicians. Her latest single, "Rock 'n Roll Baby," was released in July 2022, and will be followed by an album next year. She currently fronts the Katie Skene Band. Katie's other projects include jam-band supergroup California Kind (with John Molo, Pete Sears, Barry Sless & Rob Barraco) and a collaboration with TV Broken 3rd Eye Open..

Santa Barbara’s own Glenn Annie is a fresh ensemble with an affinity for music from time past. With recent performances in Santa Barbara, the group plays original songs collected on their debut album release “Nite Tan.” From melodic sing-songs to groove-driven dancing tunes— the music has an eclectic sound that is freshly tailored.
