Adam moved to New York City 12 years ago to study at Juilliard and had since played with some of the top musicians including Cecile McLorin Salvant, Freddy Cole, George Coleman, Mike LeDonne and many others, at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Vitello's and The Black Cat.
His group is called the Folk Element Trio; They are rooted in the tradition of jazz but reach beyond to incorporate different styles of folk music from around the world including West Africa, the Caribbean, The UK and Appalachia. They released their debut album in April of 2021 to rave reviews and have since been performing all around the country. They will be performing at Soho as the last performance of a month-long west coast tour from San Diego to Vancouver.
