Jena Douglas
Jena Douglas
Jen Douglas has been a singer/songwriter for over 30 years. She has an AA in music from Santa Barbara City College and a BA from University California Santa Barbara in music. She teaches music, privately and for a non-profit called, Girls Rock SB. She performs regularly with a couple of bands; The Stone Phoneys (a Linda Ronstadt Tribute), Women Of Songs' Sister Velvet and Jena Douglas Band.
Mary Madden
Mary Madden
Mary Madden began playing piano at age 9 and has her roots in classical music. Over the years she has become a multi instrumentalist and enjoys playing guitar, banjo and mandolin. She plays with Katheryn Boisen as the "Harmony Sisters" and they blend their beautiful harmonies with "Sister Velvet".

Katheryn Boisen began her musical career as a youngster in the smallish town of Carpinteria, playing and singing harmonies with her sisters (The Medel Sisters) at church festivals; singing in the church choir. Katheryn began writing her own songs in 2011 and has performed her originals around the Santa Barbara & Goleta and Carpinteria area. She joins forces with Women Of Song's Sister Velvet bringing a cheerful, harmonic sound, performing and collaborating on their variety of arrangements.

Sherie Davis started her musical career taking excruciatingly boring flute lessons at the age of 9 which continued for 9 years and then at the age of 10, she began guitar lessons! In 2003, she wrote her first song and has written a number of songs with the support of the amazing songwriting community in Santa Barbara and also the support of her songwriting group called, Women Of Song. She is now excited to be part of Sister Velvet!
Jackie Morris
Jackie Morris
Jackie Morris started writing songs when she was 17, singing and strumming in a college bar in Cortland, NY. Best known for her wit, warmth and inviting melodies, she has produced 5 original albums in the past 12 years – most of which were among Top Albums of the Month or Year on Folk and Americana Airplay charts. Though she now lives in France half the year, she loves being part of Sister Velvet, bringing her often humorous songs to their talented blend of harmony and multi-instrumentals.
Rachel Morris
Rachel Morris
Rachel Morris is a songwriter, singer, musician in the folk genre, with elements of irish, some rock and punk, and flecks of klezmer and back mountain sounds. She plays various guitars, banjo, and sometimes mandolin. A single parent, activist, and wilderness backpacker - her songs tend surve up a poetic, no-bullshit reflection of life.
