Gene Evaro Jr
Gene Evaro Jr
The deeply-grooved funky blues, and soulful folk of Evaro Jr is attracting a dedicated following rapidly expanding beyond So-Cal, fueled by recent touring and appearances at The Joshua Tree Music Festival, AMFM Festival, and the 111 Music Festival. The band was honored with an invitation to play on the main stage at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, via the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, after returning from their 2014 Fall West Coast Tour, to Seattle, WA.

Frontman Gene Evaro Jr's works have also been featured on the network television show Deadliest Catch and Ian Somerhalder's Time Framed Series.

Gene Evaro Jr is currently promoting their album Soul (How I keep Movin' On) and are working on their next full length album, "Too Good To Believe" in-between touring.

Hailing from magical Joshua Tree, California, since 2008, a place in which many music groups from all over the world come, and have for years, in search of the quiet spirit that is the high desert, Gene Evaro Jr embody that spirit with pure inspiration and creativity, like that of some greats, some of whom we've lost and miss dearly.

From the folk magic of Paul Simon, to the crazy funk fashion of Sly & The Family Stone, to the lyrical poetry of Jim Morrison, this old-soul youthful group of artists reminds us of what it once felt like to put on a record, press play, and then relish in every word from start to finish, without missing one beat. Gene's songs speak for his generation through his prolific songwriting. Musically reminiscent of Allen Stone, Blake Mills and Xavier Rudd, Gene Jr. brings the avant-garde stylings of Albert King to mind including playing a mean upside-down guitar, music that not only moves listeners with a force that manifests in dancing feet, it is music that heals your entire being to the core.
Rainbow Girls
Erin Chapin, Caitlin Gowdey, and Vanessa May -the dynamic trio known as Rainbow Girls- have already emerged as a much-loved live act both abroad and on their California home turf. They spent their first 5 years touring and busking around Europe and the US as a rock n' roll band, and in 2017 embarked on a stripped down *House Concert Tour Across America.

Rainbow Girls' discerning sensibility in regards to living in the United States is acutely reflected in their impassioned debut record as a trio, "American Dream". The recently released album highlights their rich harmonies, ageless songwriting, and soulful, bluesy sound at its rawest form. They have described their music as "a gang of sweet angels, punching you in the heart."

The ladies came together at an underground open mic in Santa Barbara, CA in December of 2010 and spent the following summer busking and couch surfing around Europe. Since then they have released three studio albums, toured the US and Europe extensively, been featured on KQED's The California Report, and shared the stage with The Brothers Comatose, ALO, John Craigie, Josiah Johnson (The Head and the Heart), and Handmade Moments.
