Victor Murillo is a well respected bassist, film composer, arranger, and educator who is a Santa Barbara native. Victor currently resides in New York City, where he is actively involved in numerous projects. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Victor moved to New York to get his Master's degree at Aaron Copland School of Music. It was here that Victor had the opportunity to study under some of the greatest jazz musicians and arrangers in the world. Some of these people include, Antonio Hart, Michael Mossman, David Wong, Jeb Patton, David Berkman, Dennis Mackrel and John Benitez.

After graduation, Victor started working as an assistant film composer at Blatboy Productions, and has been part of projects linked with PBS & Amazon. Victor also teaches at several institutions throughout the New York City area. He is also a part of more that 15 different performing groups in the city. On top of playing in jazz clubs, Victor has been collaborating with multiple well known artist from Mexico and other latin-american countries. He has found ways to make these genres complement each other. Victor's versatile talents keep him in demand.
