Soul Majestic
Soul Majestic
Conceived by four friends on the sandy shores of California, Soul Majestic channels their sunny beach days and bonfire nights into their unique brand of reggae music. But look beyond their laid back vibe, and you’ll find they are ever pushing the boundaries of the genre with an edge that cuts through the smoky haze. Their music blends their deep commitment to roots reggae with their love of rock, hip-hop, pop and folk music. This is reggae, yet it's original--a new twist on familiar sounds--with conscious, heartfelt messages, and a high-performance band that will have you waiting for what comes next. Their signature vocal sound features male and female singers trading melodies and soaring harmonies, laced with edgy, crowd hyping dancehall verses and memorable hooks. Epic lead guitar solos wail over a wide range of tight danceable beats, rock flourishes, and heavy-dub interludes that will captivate and move you to dance.

With a resume that includes recording with some of the greatest legends in the business (such as Sly and Robbie), sharing festival stages with the likes of Rebelution, Matisyahu, Sean Paul, and Damian Marley, and extensive touring of North America both headlining and as a support act for Anthony B, Soul Majestic has managed to amass a worldwide fan base. They have journeyed together through many adventures and growth opportunities in their career, from a pilgrimage to Jamaica to record their second album “Until that Day” at Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Studio, to touring Canada in support of their third album, “Better World” (which received an award for Galaxy Radio Canada’s top 10 international reggae albums of the year). Through it all they have maintained a strong unity and drive to continue to do what they love most: uplifting people through music.

In 2014, a successful crowd funding campaign fueled the recording of their fourth album "Setting the Tone" (which landed on the iTunes top reggae charts and was submitted by industry insiders for the 2015 GRAMMY Reggae Album of the Year), and led to the construction of their own studio and production lab. Following a 2015-2016 tour schedule that included Lucidity Festival, Santa Barbara Earthday, and the California Roots Festival, Soul Majestic released a compilation album online called “Pass It Around” which reached #7 on iTunes top reggae downloads and was selected as one of iTunes Best Reggae Albums for 2016. To promote it they released singles “Rockaway”, “Deep Green,” “Dub it Out” and “Falling in Love”, which debuted live at the 2016 California Roots Festival. The band was also featured as the cover story for Irie Magazine in the Fall of 2016.

2017 saw them on tour, beginning at the Santa Barbara Bowl, winding through the Fiji Islands Spirit Tour, and concluding with the West Coast Better Together Fall Tour alongside Australian reggae artist, Saritah. They are currently in the midst of recording their 6th album, "Keep it Burning,” featuring the song by the same title that went viral as a live FB video following the 2016 presidential election. Ever pushing forward, Soul Majestic has arrived at their highest peak of live performance, songwriting and musical creation yet. Catch them live and keep an ear out for new recordings in 2018.
One Two Tree
One Two Tree
ONE TWO TREE... Sweet, soulful, rootsy, and addicting is the best way to describe this group of talented musicians. With their enchanting vocals, stylish mixes, and intoxicating grooves, it's impossible to see one of their performances without swaying to the music.

The group, based on the west coast of California in beautiful Santa Barbara, currently boasts a great set of musicians. Some, doing double duty as current members of the internationally acclaimed reggae group, Black Uhuru with Andrew Bees. Now if that doesn't say talent, I don't know what does! You can find out more about each member of the group by reading their personal bio page. Just click on a name in the Current Members section below.

Although the band resides in Santa Barbara, their roots stem from the Hawaiian Islands, to the South American coast, and all the way out to the shores of Jersey. Utilizing this flavorful mix of cultures, these musicians know how to hold down a reggae groove (as in the song Downtown), and they also know when to let the music explode (as in the song Run).

If your mind, body, and soul are in need of a tropical island vacation, then you must come groove to the magical sounds of ONE TWO TREE!
