Kate Graves
Kate Graves
Kate Graves writes little songs....little songs that are raw.
Sometimes they are sparse...sometimes filled with lots of little words. Often they are written about things like tasting sweet orange on your lips and wanting to kiss someone, so that they might experience tasting sweet orange on their lips. Kate Graves likes kissing. And singing. She hopes you will listen in. Hear her tunes at www.kategravesmusic.com

to my soundtrack adventures in film and TV...
I’ve been fortunate to have diverse musical influences in this life, the first being my mother playing the cello before I was born (and watching her in orchestras my whole life). Being a guitarist and singer/songwriter in rock bands growing up and later with Warner Brothers Records gave me a different set of tools. As a film major at UC Santa Barbara I learned how film and music work together intimately.
I love collaborating with talented and driven filmmakers and musicians, and the power of film to make the world a better or more inspiring place is a great motivator. Something about creating the music that fits a scene and brings it to life is magical to me.
Currently I’ve scored 10 feature films, over 50 national television episodes, and numerous trailers.
