Meat Puppets
Meat Puppets
The Meat Puppets are an American rock band originally from Phoenix. One of the more notable groups on the roster of SST Records (who released most of their albums), the Meat Puppets started as a punk rock band, but like most of their SST peers, the Meat Puppets established their own unique style, blending punk with country and psychedelic rock, and featuring Curt's warbling vocals. The Meat Puppets later gained significant exposure when the Kirkwood brothers served as guest musicians on Nirvana's MTV Unplugged performance in 1993. The band's 1994 album Too High to Die subsequently became their most successful release. The band broke up twice, in 1996 and 2002, but reunited again in 2006.
The World Takes
STEPHEN MAGLIO - Guitar, Vocals

stephen maglio is a musical nut ball who defies not description, but worthiness of it. it really doesn't matter what the fuck he has done or is doing - just listen to the music from the collective he leads called "the world takes". he also leads several other bands including "the pigeon sisters", "every ten seconds in america", "the footprint of the american chicken" and "it's only fucking music terry lyne".

JIM STAGER - Bass, Vocals

jjim stager grew up in the philadelphia area where he played bass since grade school. he was voted most nerdy musician and was voted most likely to teach marching band oboe in his senior year of high school. boy were they wrong! his coolness started playing electric bass guitar with the blistering power punk band the balls. he later had a successful run in 'huffamoose" a sassy-smart pop rock powerhouse that spawned major label releases as well as successful us tours and an award winning documentary. he is making a true mark with "the world takes" - a spectacular diverse ass kicking collective of musicians led by the musical nutcase stephen maglio.

DJ BONEBRAKE - Drums

Donald James Bonebrake (yes, that is his real name) grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. He began drumming at the age of 12 and studied classical and traditional music while playing in various rock n roll bands.
