The Santa Barbara Jazz Collective is a group of young jazz musicians who hail from Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Ventura, California. Formed in the fall of 2010 through jam sessions on State Street, the group has performed at a variety of venues in Southern California including SoHo Restaurant and Music Club, Jitters Coffee, and Arnoldi's Cafe. In addition, the Santa Barbara Jazz Collective has played at multiple private events, parties, and weddings. Members of the group have attended or are attending well-respected universities and colleges throughout the United States including Berklee College of Music, The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, USC, UCSB, and SBCC.
