Working at SOhO, Santa Barbara’s popular live music venue, provides employees with a multitude of unusual experiences, sights and sounds. One can’t help to think every now and then, “hey, if this guy can stand on stage emanating whale sounds from his trumpet, maybe we can put on a killer show”. After a year of late night cleaning and scheming a staff band was finally born: “Amy and the SohOhOhO’s”. Soundman Alan takes lead guitar, bartender Mike Mooney on bass, Ryland Chase plays Keys, and Amy Di Chiro on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. There will be a few surprises thrown in, not to mention dance performances by the lovely SOhOettes! Admission is only $5! This is a night not to be missed. Come celebrate the season and have a rockin’ and rollin’ good old time with the SOhO staff. The restaurant and music club will also be offering its new organic, sustainable, locally sourced menu.
