Feed The Funk
Feed The Funk
Feed the Funk is an annual Santa Barbara community outreach event that seeks to highlight the importance of music, community leadership, and service. Proceeds from this year’s Feed the Funk benefit concert will support local teen mentorship arts and music programs, including the Jewish Federation’s Teen Comedy Club, and more. The Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara is a non-profit organization that supports and provides social service programs including senior services, counseling, volunteer programs, community education, rescue, and relief, while building community and encouraging leadership among young adults. No matter one’s age, ethnicity, religion, or gender, the Federation’s programs are open to all.
Distant Cousins
Distant Cousins
The three LA-based songwriters/producers who make up DISTANT COUSINS have more than enough musical and personal connections to justify the name of their band. And their chemistry was so strong that their first official writing session resulted in a spirited song appropriately called “On My Way."

“I love the synergy of this group because we really do each bring something unique to the process,” says Dov. “Ami’s production and engineering chops are stellar.” Ami adds, “Dov helps to get our collage of ideas to a solidified song.” Both love that Duvid’s raw and authentic approach brings a down-to-earth sensibility to the music. “He has managed to maintain a real organic connection to music throughout his years of experience,” says Ami, “I love his instincts and the soul that he brings.”

In their short time as a band, DISTANT COUSINS is already winning fans with screen audiences everywhere - their songs have appeared in ads, TV shows, and films spanning the globe. With two critically acclaimed albums, DISTANT COUSINS are just getting started.
