The Upbeat
In the beginning (1985), The Upbeat molded their music around the 2-Tone Ska that was popular in the late 70′s and 80′s. Over the last 25 years, and gazillions of shows up and down the West Coast, they have come into their own style of Ska/Reggae/Rocksteady (with a smidgen of their laid back attitude, culminating from them growing up and surfing in a small beach community). It’s danceable, skankable, fun, all around ‘move you’ music that can be enjoyed by everyone with a mind open enough, to let the groove fill you…

Diego’s Umbrella are San Francisco’s Ambassadors of Gypsy Rock. Internationally known and revered, their lively stage show, great songs, antics and humor have garnered them a cult following around the world.
